Once enrolled, you will get immediate access to our online portal with all the lessons needed to learn the Brazily Dance Formula. At your own pace, you will learn everything you need to offer a world class Brazily Dance experience!
To complete your training you'll need to either attend our in person practical training (Which will be held in Ottawa for the time being - we will let you know when other locations open up!) or you can submit a video of yourself teaching a 30-minute Brazily Dance class to at least 3 participants. We will assess how well you implement our exclusive Brazily Dance formula, your musicality, cueing, and confidence as an instructor, among other things. You will receive detailed instructions on exactly what we will be looking for before you submit your video. Once submitted, you will hear back from us within two to three weeks to find out if you have passed and if you are successful, we will send you your official certificate. You can submit up to one more assessment video if you aren’t successful the first time. After that, we encourage you to wait six months to submit again to ensure you have enough time to practice and implement our feedback (additional fees may apply.)

In the Brazily Dance Instructor Training, you’ll learn everything you need to start teaching fun, confidence-boosting Brazilian dance fitness classes that make a real impact. The course covers our signature teaching method, class structure, cueing techniques, musicality, how to embody the Brazilian Confidence Formula, and how to create an empowering experience that helps students feel sexy, strong, and unstoppable. You'll also get practical tips on how to launch your classes successfully — including marketing, community-building, and creating an inclusive, judgment-free environment where everyone feels welcome. The online portion of the training is self-paced and should take 2-3 months to complete. After that, you'll either submit a video assessment or attend a live in-person or virtual session (depending on your location) to finalize your certification. We make sure you're supported every step of the way — so you can feel confident, prepared, and excited to lead your first Brazily Dance class!

Yes! The Brazily Dance Instructor Training is approved for 4 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) through canfitpro. We’re also actively working on getting the training recognized by additional accrediting bodies across Canada and the U.S. If you're certified through another organization, you can usually submit your Brazily Dance certificate of completion for credit approval. Most accrediting bodies allow for self-reporting or petitioning external education, and we’re happy to provide any supporting documents you may need. Our goal is to ensure instructors everywhere can grow professionally while bringing the energy, confidence, and impact of Brazily Dance to their communities.

To become a certified Brazily Dance Instructor, you'll first pay a one-time fee for the instructor training. This includes your certification, access to our signature teaching method, and all the tools you need to get started. After you're certified, there's a $40 CAD monthly membership fee to maintain your instructor license. This fee gives you ongoing access to: Fresh, on-brand choreography Instructor training and development materials Marketing templates and promotional guidance Business growth tips and ongoing community support For a limited time, we're offering instructors the opportunity to waive this monthly fee by completing a few simple tasks you’d likely be doing anyway to promote your classes — like posting on social media, teaching at least one class per month, and gathering student feedback. That’s why all certified instructors are required to use official Brazily Dance choreography in their classes. That said, we also believe in celebrating individuality. While the foundation must stay the same, we encourage instructors to bring their own personality, energy, and flair to each class. Inside the training, we’ll show you exactly how to do this while staying true to the Brazily Dance experience. We’ll also be actively gathering feedback from our instructors as we grow.
